derbydan
Ian Holloway is to be named as Blackpool's new manager, skysports.com understands. The 46-year-old is thought to have beaten off six other rivals to land the role at Bloomfield Road. Holloway replaces caretaker bossTony Parkes at Blackpool following his decision to quit the club earlier this week. The former Queens Park Rangers chief has been out of work since leaving Leicester last year and he has been keen to get back into management. Holloway is expected to be officially unveiled at a press conference later on Thursday.
