SaveMartyrs
There is currently a signed Derby County FC shirt on ebay offered for sale by Merthyr Tydfil Supporters Society Ltd. The shirt is from 1997 when Merthyr played Derby in a friendly game and is signed by 36 people including the players (obviously!) and the coaching staff. Asanovic, Mart Poom, Matthew Taylor, Eric Steele, Christian Dailly and Chris Powell are just some of the autographs on the shirt. The shirt was kindly donated to us by a Merthyr fan who won the shirt in a competition run at the time by the local newspaper The Merthyr Express to be auctioned. The shirt is now offered for auction via eBay so I thought I'd post it on a Derby forum as it is a real collector's item.
