RotherhamRam
More like Andy has said you want 100k to pay a DOF why? we have clough who will do it for nowt in part of his role. But we won't let him negotiate contracts and transfer fees as Glick you can control the purse and make sure your pockets reach the floor to make it difficult to get out. I honestly think that the board have realised that releasing this role to a DOF makes it more difficult to manage budgets and Glick is adamant that we will not overspend and pay out for a player unless they can help it. Also we know there is no money being spent as Glick has made it clear and there are no promises this season of developing the team. What would a DOF actually do when there is no money to spend? jagerbob
At Derby the DoF makes no sense given what clough and his team are building. There are clubs like chelsea who sack their "coach" every year, and where the academy setup, transfer policy and even transfer dealings have nothing to do with the coach.
