How many free trips do Derby owe us over the years............

Ipswich will offer free coach travel to supporters going to Blackpool on 10 September in a bid to repay fans after their 7-1 thrashing by Peterborough.

Town took 1,300 fans to witness the horror display at London Road.

Chief executive Simon Clegg said the offer was "a show of our gratitude to our fans after enduring last weekend's defeat at Peterborough".

"I think it's fitting that we look to cover the costs of the coaches," he told the club website.

"Watching your team lose as well as win is all part of being a football fan and it's not a decision we have taken lightly but we feel this one-off gesture is the right one and I know Paul and the players are right behind it as well."

Boss Paul Jewell said he was "ashamed and embarrassed" after the humbling by Posh, adding he was "lower than I've probably been for a long, long time".

Supporters must buy their ticket for Bloomfield Road by midday on Tuesday, 6 September to qualify for free coach travel.
