Land the shirts off their backs

Derby County is giving supporters the chance to win the shirts off the players' backs with our exclusive end-of-season auction.

All first-team squad members will be handing over one of their match-worn shirts for supporters to bid for - with the proceeds going to the Teen Pride Appeal, the club's chosen charity for the year.

And also up for grabs is a training top signed by manager Nigel Clough and coaching staff.

Bidding is open now with offers invited for the shirt off the back of your favourite player, and you'll be invited to collect it at a special event at Moor Farm.

Simply e-mail webmaster@dcfc.co.uk with your bid, a daytime contact number, and most importantly of all, the player whose shirt you are bidding for. Please mark the subject of your e-mail 'Shirts Off Their Backs'.

The highest bid for each shirt will be the winner and in the event of a shirt attracting more than one bid of the same amount, the first bid at that amount will be deemed victorious.

We'll be updating the bidding here at [url=http://www.dcfc.co.uk/]www.dcfc.co.uk between now and the deadline so you'll be able to check on the progress of your offer and update if required.

It all closes at 12noon on Wednesday April 22 so make sure you get your bids in quickly to land a rare item of Derby County memorabilia.

Not only will you land the shirt off the player's back, you'll also be helping raise vital funds for the Teen Pride Appeal.

And there's another great opportunity coming up to boost the appeal and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime chance to play on the Pride Park Stadium pitch.

Sunday May 10 is the date of the Teen Pride game, with sealed bids for places now being invited.

E-mail your bid to events@dcfc.co.uk with a starting price of £500 for this rare opportunity.
