Apart from our purpe patch in October, the latest 10 games, ranks as our best period of form in the whole season in terms of points earned. The 10 game patch before Janunary included 5 straight defeats as well as the purple patch came to a nasty end.

3 defeats and 4 draws in 10 with this threadbare squad is no mean feat anyway. At the start of the year, the goals dried up, even when we had Commons in the side. Stephen Davies return to form has been a big plus and the combination of Ward and Robinson, although not prolific has given us a more potent attacking presence. Although it is once again a nothing season, the protest movement may have finally pressured the clubs owners into giving Clough a reasonable budget to build a squad to genuinely compete next season.

Also, Savage could end the season as our top scorer, by default as Commons is no longer here. Stephen Davies, Cwyka, Bueno and Savage are all on 4 goals, with Ward on 3.
