vicky-27
Mick McCarthy has issued a stop the Savage plea for the Wolves game. Has everyone else warmed to him now ? i remember how most hated him and the boo's he got - since Nigel came along he is a different person, you can see it when he wams up on the pitch, the banter he was with the fans, i have it on good authority he is getting an award on wednesday night. well deserved i say [url=http://www.sundaymercury.net/midlands-sport/wolverhampton-wanderers-fc/wolverhampton-wanderers-news/2009/04/12/wolves-mick-mccarthy-issues-stop-robbie-savage-plan-66331-23366791/]http://www.sundaymercury.net/midlands-spor...66331-23366791/
Day
Stop Savage? I would of thought stop commons would be the main priority for Wolves. I've warmed to Savage due to the amount of effort he puts in even if he does run round like a headless chicken and you can see he wants Derby to do well. You can tell the players enjoy having him around aswell, the downside is the fact next season will probably be his last in a Derby shirt if we're serious about promotion. vicky-27
I must admit i was surprised at the headline myself ! maybe 5 years ago - shame he's on his last legs should still play a part for us next season though.

Who'd have written that at the start of the season?
