Alberto Bueno is a player that can play it on the floor. We should be playing him in the home games. Maybe he should take Ben Davies' place in the home matches, I'm not too impressed with him so far to be honest.

dead ball specialist... dont make me laugh

Davies will come good. when he's got a couple of wins to his names and the teams got a bit more confidence i think we'll see the best of him.

but back to the point of the thread, with two pacey strikers and hopefully hayes on route, we need to be playing it on the deck like earlier in the season to see the best from these players.

i personally dont think savage n addison work well...what does savage actually bring to the team??drop sav have bailey as the other holder and bueno free to roam

Poor tackling, stupid free-kicks in dangerous places, comedy slow running, gestures such as:

Putting both hands on his heads in disbelief at the free kick, before stroking back his hair

Straight after giving away a free kick, he loses the ability to use his arms and they swing uncontrolably just in front of him whilst slightly bent over

Bad passing and Gareth Barry style passing straight back to the Cb it just came from.

The ability to play **** and then have a go at the manager for subbing him as if he was the best player on the pitch

Making **** songs before we lose.

Having the balls the to say he's ready to play for Wales again.....like he's good enough.

Tries too hard to make friends with Lee Camp on late night t.v shows.

Takes up the wages we could use for 45 and a half players, all of which would be better than him.

I probably missed a few things.

In Sav's defence, I think his songs have a positive influence on the club and fans. Fair play to him for letting everyone have a good laugh at his expence, at least he's trying to do something public to bouy up the club.

Maybe he could be part of new squad of cheerleaders instead of the footballers - he's got the hair!

He let's us do that every Saturday afternoon....doesn't need to be naked in bed with Kuqi to do that.

I'm beginning to think i don't like him.

Well let's be frank! His performances pitchside are inconsistent to say the least.

The way I see it, it's just a bit of viral marketing for the club, and perhaps a little bit for his egos benefit too. You know a lot of brands spend tons of cash on whole campaigns based on similar ideas just to secure some public interest in their brand / product.

I can't think of any other PR stunt by a Rams player recently that was actually intended to have a positive impact on the club.

As the captain, I'm glad he's at least been doing something to try and get a positive vibe going beyond the football (and before you say it, yes I understand the best place for that should be on the pitch itself).

Overall, I'm indifferent to Savage - I don't think he's a particularly effective player anymore, but equally during his time here he's been an ok servant to the club, both on / off the pitch.

I think it has everything to do with his ego to be honest and the Robbie Savage brand and self-promotion. Nothing to do with the club in terms of why he is doing this.

Anybody who films themselves and posts in on youtube or Twitter is looking for attention, imo. Can't understand why anyone would want to do it myself.

He's certainly a marmite character that's for sure.

I agree that his ego is a major factor in posting these videos, but the subject matter in question is the club, and his songs are clearly aimed at creating a positive vibe about DCFC.

In turn he probably hopes for some extra praise to massage his ever-expanding "self-admiration", however a byproduct of his efforts is that people who watch the video will walk away thinking as much about DCFC as they do Sav.

I agree with all that.

He's still a **** though. :D
