Well, what can be said, the result is done. We move on.

Davies could have scored and we could have won it.

He looks a great addition and had alot more guts than some of the others out there. He showed enough to say that he can help lift the side out of the current mire.

Porter could have scored as well. Camp pulled off two super saves to win them the game.

We were better than them for much of the second half. We needed a pacy striker and we don't have one on the books. OVER TO YOU BOARD!

Back to the topic....

Lots of tough fixtures, as always.

February sees the return of Jewell in a couple of weeks, following that we go to Pompey and then have a lethal looking Leicester match.

An opportunity to get something. Jewell coming back here, wouldn't suprise me if they get something. Draw.

February 5, 2011 3:00 pm Portsmouth v Derby County

Portsmouth win.

February 12, 2011 5:20 pm Derby County v Leicester City

Leicester win.

This is a key game IMO. If we haven't turned things around by this point, I think Clough could go if he doesn't come away with a win. I still think we'll beat Sc*nthorpe though.

Hmm. On the back of a win at Glanford park, another victory.

February 26, 2011 3:00 pm Sheffield United v Derby County

Why not end the month on a high, with a third win?

10 points in February. How's that for optimism?

Get out of it YR.

yes Davies may be an accomplished manager who can throw cash around and get results (Jewell couldn't so that not just a dig) but the Guy has no loyalties and atthe play off final, rather than have us ride the waves of success, Ala blackoool, Ala Norwich, Ala Leeds, the list goes on, he threw a spanner on the works to get his own way.

He caused our dire premier league stay by unsettling the camp and engineering his departure when he knew he couldn't turn it around.

I would sooner turn my back on the club I love then ever see that pr1ck come back to manage Derby.
