DavesaRam Posted February 6, 2023 Share Posted February 6, 2023 Jeff arrived during the Brian Clough era during my transition from school to the world of work. I am not aware of talking about conversation rates in those days, but he didn’t seem to need many chances to be able to put the ball in the onion bag. Sadly he simply didn’t get many matches, and was usually brought on from the bench. I started this topic because I found out today that sadly he passed away about eight years, and I had no idea. ? He was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, which normally gives you 3 years to live from the time of diagnosis. Jeff died after only 9 weeks. How sad.
