Over 37,000 English fans travelled down under in 2006/7 to watch us get thrashed 5-0, this time it looks like being a very different story! We're expecting the biggest ever Barmy Army travelling support to leave these shores, extract taken from the barmy army site

not a bad turn out eh daveyboy?

37,000 English dumb asses fly to the other side of the world to fall asleep and get sun burnt whilst a bunch of poofs whack a ball around all day, not bad at all. Sorry but it's not even a sport, how can it be when they break for cucumber sandwiches and a cup of Yorkshire tea every few hours.

Years ago a couple of guys I worked with went to a test match and came back with an awesome sunburn, just on one side of the face, straight down the centre of the nose. Never seen anything like it.

They also told the tale of the fat bloke who just got p1ssed on a box of red wine (always can tell its quality when its served in a box). After demolishing 3 litres of red he fell asleep and his hat fell into his lap. He woke himself up vomiting into the hat, and was so confused with what happened he immediately put his hat back on again.

For that alone, you've got to love cricket.

No.

Cricket is rubbish, It does not fill a great big sporting hole in the summer. The summer is for BBQ's, beer and more beer, not sat inside watching a bunch of poofs whack a ball round a field all day for 3 days running.

Sorry Joe you might be a student but you is wrong.
