Avram Grant named as prem boss caught in brothel

Recommended Posts

:D Grant was pictured leaving the brothel near Portsmouth's training ground, where prostitutes reportedly charge £130 for sex, and police have confirmed the establishment is under investigation.

Grant, a married father of two, could be questioned by police officers as a potential witness in any case against the brothel, a self-styled Thai 'massage parlour'.

Grant was confronted by a reporter from The Sun as he left the brothel in Eastleigh last December, but the newspaper chose not to name him in a subsequent story.

Asked if he knew the true nature of the business Grant allegedly told the reporter 'yes' before being driven away in a chaffeur-driven car.

A spokesman for Hampshire Police told the Daily Telegraph: 'We are aware of certain allegations that have been made in connection with that location.

'There is nothing to evidence the allegations at the moment.'

However, the newspaper claims a source close to the police probe told them: 'We want to speak to people who have been there, to clients who might be potential witnesses.'

Neither prostitution, nor paying for a prostitute, is illegal under UK law, but running a brothel is a criminal offence.
