The former Portsmouth boss had been at the QPR helm less than a month after succeeding Jim Magilton, who himself had only been given the reins in the summer. Hart becomes the sixth full-time manager to leave QPR, a figure that rises to nine if you include caretaker bosses, since Flavio Briatore took over the club in September 2007. An FA Cup defeat to Sheffield United earlier in the week has proven to be Hart's final game in charge, with the experienced tactician lasting just five matches.
