What have some of you got against the Nottinghamshire Forestry Commission?? I presume that is who you meant by Notts Forest, unless of course your counting Sherwood Forest as 'The' forest of Nottinghamshire, in which case, what have you got against Sherwood Forest?? There is no Football Team/Club called Notts Forest... there is a Notts County (the club representing Nottinghamshire) and there is a Nottingham Forest (shortened to Nott'm if you really want to include the location). Forest is the Cities club, County is... well the Counties club..., there is no S in Nottingham so Notts Forest does not exist... Not a major thing, but if your gonna put someone down you should probably make sure you are putting THEM down and not an imaginary non existent team... Notts Forest is just inaccurate... it isn't banter, it isn't insulting, it isn't clever, it isn't a wind up... it's just factually inaccurate . trigger Posted January 9, 2010 Share Posted January 9, 2010 good luck to notts forest! really do hope they get promoted. so all you people that say give clough/ the damm yanks more time , is your point of view the same now? its bad enough being in this league, but it could be even worse in the 1st division! if i was consistantly bad at my job week in and week out i would be sacked, if the company was to continually produce bad results they would go under! anyway on a more positive note , the weather here on the gold coast is beautiful, im off out on my jet ski, then going for a seafood lunch, then fishing then a bbq , whats your lot up to today?
