The story behind the Bloomfield Diamond is an unusual one. The opportunity to win a beautiful diamond and help Melanoma UK, one of the charities that was very close to Colin's heart. Colin came to Westminster to take to MPs in the months before he passed away - such was his desire to help other melanoma patients.
