TETRA
Since the 26th December 2015 when we were top of The Champioship with 47 points from 23 games the following Clubs below us have made up a considerable amount of points on us over the last 5 games. List as follows. 1 - Hull 10 points 2 - Boro 7 points 3 - Burnley 11 points 4 - Brighton 4 points 5 - Derby 6 - Sheffield Wed 8 points 7 - Birmingham 11 points 8 - Ipswich 6 points Sadly it's not exactly automatic promotion form is it ?. WamRam
Look at how many points Hull picked up in December...it doesn't take long to turn it around it this league. Alph
Exactly. Start putting some wins together and we'll be back in it. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/21620-what-a-difference-5-games-make-in-points/#findComment-953089 Share on other sites

For all those teams listed in the op to gain those point, only we had to perform badly. To make back those points, we must play well, but every single one of those teams must go through a poor run of form like we did. A few wins may see us not make up any points all if no one else drops off Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/21620-what-a-difference-5-games-make-in-points/#findComment-953148 Share on other sites

Love to think so, but in reality both Hull and Boro would now have to lose another 3 or 4 games each from their remaining 18 matching [Hull have lost 5 all season so far] and we would have to do something we haven't done all season win more than 3 games on the bounce. In our current melt down one win is looking beyond us. Anything is possible - but reality is slightly different Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/21620-what-a-difference-5-games-make-in-points/#findComment-953174 Share on other sites
Papahet
Why is it whenever a "blip" occurs we look at other sides progression through them? "Oh Hull did this", "Burnley did that" We have been here before, just under a year ago and how did that turn out? Worrying thing is, we've got pretty much a fully fit squad unlike Mcclaren w/ Martin, Buxton, Bent, Thorne continually pulling up. No excuses this time around, we just aren't capable of maintaining a run and grinding out wins - which is worrying.
