Having got out, he approached the boot, his hands surprisingly steady considering the nerves that possessed him. He paced forward, with a steady, constant rhythm, like a centipede with 98 missing legs. He was now facing the boot head on. He felt like a cowboy preparing for a shootout, staring down his enemy.

Slowly, he opened the boot, and out jumped two naked men who he instantly recognised from the DCFC fans' forum...

All of a sudden the memories came flooding back to Roy Davies. The forest. The mist. The red dogs. Kidnapping B4 and Boycie and eating his cucumber. But hang on, if Roy ate the cucumber where did the new one come from? He shuddered at the thought.

Roy looked around for his only friend, the raccoon. He had left the Racoon on the passenger seat to go check out the noise in the boot so walked round the side of the car in disbelief, leaving Boycie and B4 tied up in the boot unable to escape. "I've been tied up in boots of cars more times than your little finger" came from the rear of the car. As Roy peered through the window to talk to his racoon friend his heart sank. All that was sat there was a wooden spoon with a poorly drawn face upon it

The burly, bearded figure stood stock still, taking in the scene before him impassively. Two dead reddogs hung limply across his broad shoulders as he approached the car slowly yet somehow all the more threatening because of it. You DCFC boys should be careful round these parts, he growled, for this is Shitewood Forest and the evil reddogs roam freely.

Who are you and how many have you brought with you? asked B4 bravely but Boycie whispered, Its Sir Jake of Buxton, he'll protect us and lead us to safety, don't worry B4........

I wander how many red dogs he has slaughtered over the years, said b4. Boycie didn't respond, he just smiled in awe of Sir Jake.  He then asked Mr. Buxton about the vicious rumours circulating the country, 'did you really have a pint with Dav and Ladyram?'

Jake didn't reply; instead his piercing blue eyes gazed far into the distance.

Roy, Boycie, B4 and the wooden spoon waited for an answer, mesmerised.

A single sentence came from Jake's mouth in his deep, manly yet knowing voice.

"I can smell some more reddogs."
