Mido makes Zamalek move

Recommended Posts

Middlesbrough forward Mido has joined Zamalek on a season-long loan deal, the Egyptian giants have announced.

The 26-year-old, who began his career with the White Knights, will have the option of penning a permanent deal at the end of his loan period, but only if Zamalek meet Boro's terms.

Gareth Southgate's side have pocketed £4million for the initial switch with a further £1million to follow if the move is to be extended.

The former Tottenham striker had been expected to leave the Riverside and initially refused to return for pre-season training following their relegation to the Championship.

They have done well to get £4m, watch the Hulse rumours to start flying around again by Monday morning.
