ElBeef Posted May 22, 2014 Share Posted May 22, 2014 Was listening to talk sport this morning when it was mentioned that the under 17 England team had just won the Euro Championship. They then talked about when we won it last time back in 2010 beating Spain 2-1. They wanted to see where that team was now. Wisdom was one of the first to be mentioned as he scored (well it bounced of his ass from another shot!!) and that Thorne was also in the team. Wisdom played central defence Other notable players that game where: Ross Barkley, Conor Wickham, Saido Berahino, Jack Butland and Josh McEachran. Interesting to think that although Wisdom has played very well at right back, what would he be like in the centre. Nothing needs to be added about Thorne apart from the potential is huge and I really think we are going to face competition to sign him if hes available. Wisdom has obvious skills and power - but he can be really slow at turning/getting up...eg Vs Burnley.
