You forget to mention that we were in a relegation battle with Bolton at the time . And Masons home town is .......?

Never knew that.

I was just hoping that it was really personal, like Joey Barton had once set fire to Mason's dog, then stubbed it out on his cat.

mate its 2014, homosexuality isn't a crime, it is accepted and the sporting world should support him.

You are joking right ??  You dont think I am talking about his sexuality .

Like a "bent" copper   corrupt and biased .

Yes we are shitting ourselves... there are other refs we would have preferred! He has, though refereed on one or two memorable occasions, like beating the Scum at Scumbridge.

Not sure if that is your complete recrd with him as ref...From LoftForWords......

Our record with Mason as ref - W:2 D:5 L:5

08/2003 D 3-3 Rushden (A)
12/2004 L 1-2 Nottm For (A)
08/2006 L 1-3 Ipswich (H)
10/2006 D 3-3 West Brom (A)
09/2007 D 1-1 Leicester (A)
09/2008 W 1-0 Aston Villa (A) (League Cup)
10/2010 D 1-1 Bristol City (A)
04/2011 D 2-2 Cardiff (A)
12/2011 L 0-1 Liverpool (A)
04/2012 L 0-2 Man Utd (A)
01/2013 W 1-0 Chelsea (A)
04/2013 L 0-2 Everton (A)

Derby's record with Mason as ref - W:1 D:1 L:3

03/2003 D 1-1 Sheff Utd (A)
08/2004 L 2-4 Crewe (H)
01/2005 W 2-1 West Ham (A)
08/2007 L 0-1 Man City (A)
10/2007 L 0-1 Reading (A)

He's never given a penalty to QPR but has awarded 4 to the opposition. He's also awarded 1 to Derby but never against them. Derry is the only red card he's awarded in matches involving either team.

A summary of his performance for the Manure game...normally the ref is scored out of ten. Lee Mason was the first and only to be awarded N/A

"The dictionary definition of a referee is “a fair and impartial person who administers the rules of a game or sport.” As he was neither fair nor impartial and failed to administer the rules of association football correctly throughout I don’t really see how I can mark him as a referee. His performance, at various times, ventured into being corrupt."

We love him!
