Duracell Posted April 23, 2014 Share Posted April 23, 2014 British Pathé have recently archived a lot of news reels on YouTube, some of which haven't been seen by anyone since they were filmed for one reason or another. Their channel now has over 80,000 clips on it - not all of them have sound on them as some of them are just discarded clips for newsreels, but it's still worth a watch. There's quite Derby videos on here. I think before hand there was only one video on YouTube of perhaps our finest moment, winning the cup in 1946, but thanks to Pathé we have this contemporary news reel, complete with our current Queen getting practice in trying to look interested in things she doesn't give a toss about. Aside from that, there's a wealth of clips which transport you to a completely different world Have Schteve and Simmo seen this one?
