Derby County are looking for a new star to take on the role of Rammie and various other roles within the Club's Events Team.

As vibrant and growing department the Derby County Events Team organises and executes all matchday activities and special events including team parades, guard of honour, flag bearing, pitch performances, corporate marketing, penalty shoot-outs, charity collections, launches and dinners.

As an integral part of the Club the position of Club Mascot Rammie will be full-time.

Successful auditions for the role of Rammie should show:

• Excellent communication skills

• Confidence to perform to large public audiences

• Work flexible hours

• Good organisational skills

• Ability to manage and administer Rammie

• Promote and uphold both the Club and Rammie's brand

• Continue to develop the brand

As a main source of promoting club initiatives the roles of Matchday PA Announcer and DJ are also integral.

Candidates should demonstrate:

PA Announcer

• Vibrant individual

• Excellent communication skills

• Confidence to command crowds of over 30,000

• Ability to work with and develop scripts

• Promote and uphold both the Club brand

Matchday DJ

• Understand audio and PA equipment

• Ability to mix suitable and relevant music to enhance the matchday experience

• Understand a broad mix of genres and age groups

• Liaise with PA Announcer and Events Executive

We are also looking for enthusiastic individuals to work as promotional staff, helping deliver events and activities on a part-time basis.

Apply for it then Joe - just make sure you get the timing right for Steve Bloomer cos they nearly always cock it up

Matty would make a good Rammie - he can hold his own in front of 30,000 people

Rammie has never been any good since Dean Mottram did it - he was the best. And we need a new announcer because Ed George is awful.

but your not the first to tell me that, maybe when im older eh

still have that buzz going, first time rammies lapped the pitch 3 times tryin to roar on the fans
