SantosHalper
I wrote this article for The Bundesliga Lounge a few months ago, about the Bundesliga's 50+1 rule. http://www.bundesligalounge.com/archives/764 Any comments gratefully received! Salford ram
Brilliant article, I went to hamburg this year on a stag do, part of which we went to see hamburg versus Hannover . Still buzzing about it. Price of ticket included free public transport. 50,000 fans no segregation between fans no problems, plenty of drinking . Had a massive area for safe standing. Could get beer and food without leaving your seat. Players at the end of match sat on pitch near home fans who chanted their appreciation, players joined in for 10 minutes. The German model of fan involvement is a fantastic idea. We need to see more of it here, to get fans more involved and energised about our team. EastKentRam
They try to brain wash us over here that the Prem is the best league in the world, it isnt, the Bundesliga is, easily.

LeedsCityRam
Really good read that - I can't stand the "values" of English football at the minute & am craving for the day when business is a mere consideration rather than an all-consuming parasite. Sadly the overwhelming power of the Premier League & the apparent indifference of the FA means the game isn't going to change anytime soon. The flood of cash into the Championship seems to indicate the situation is getting worse. Our only hope may be HMRC - in bringing down a couple of high-profile clubs a la Rangers & changing the culture
