Orient close to a goal there

NML through but the ball was bouncing high and the keeper closed the angles by the time he’d got it down.

Orient much better this half

HT Great score line and a fairly good performance in general, although we look a bit toothless in the final third, set pieces and crosses have been our main threat. Orient are absolutely there for the taking. We can really up our goal difference against this lot, if we get our attacking final third to click.

Pratley looks way off the pace for them. Need to get around him and take advantage. Used to be a decent player too.

Interesting that CBT gets dropped for a bad game. But Bradley comes straight back in after a poor performance and a costly, awful display of petulance. Still, hopefully we have enough to get the three points. COYR

Wildsmith Wilson, Nelson, Cashin, Sibley, Smith Adams, Barks NML, Collins/wags/wash, CBT Cant decide which of the out 3 strikers who are struggling for form to pick. I’m leaning towards Wags, as he probably has the most quality when in form. Part of problem is seeing the huge difference Gayle made……….once you’ve driven a Porsche, it’s difficult to choose a Robin Reliant!

We’d have taken that before kick off. Shame to have lost the lead twice but it’s still a good result which keeps the pressure on Bolton.

Adams is a man mountain

We scored from open play. Ward carried the ball forward and crossed, the clearance went out wide to Sibs who crossed and the Blackpool clearance was lashed home by Adams.

I think he worked fairly hard, although you can tell he was choosing when to exert himself due to lack of match fitness. His movement was o.k and moved defenders around a bit, that said he wasn't particularly effective. It's debatable which of him or Waghorn should have started, both look short of match fitness and a bit out of sorts as a result. Also think we've rushed Collins back too early, as he looked even more out of sorts.

Oh and special mention to THAT linesman. You tried and still failed!

That league table

Great result and vital 3 points given results elsewhere and our injury problems. Nelson, Cash, Smith, Adams NML and CBT were the standout players. Not going to go into the performance too much as it’s solely about those 3 points. Needless to say we played ok, but can play better. Happy days!
