A statistic is just a statistic, whether it tells you anything useful is a matter of interpretation. That's where the "lies, damn lies and statistics" line comes from. And if you're ever struggling for sleep, download a couple of DQO texts........ As for the charts presented here, they are actually very good for illustrative purposes in my opinion. I doubt they're going to used to prepare for matches or decide what signings we need to make but give a nice representation of where the teams are relative to each other in some measures.
