Football teams?

Basically, I've been away in university halls this year, and will be coming back home to Derby next year and commuting to university, and want to get playing football competitively again.

I was just wondering if any of you play for any football teams whether it be competitive or pub teams that could use an extra player. I'm 19 and play centre back/ right back.

Rynny was on about forming a team a while back, have you also tried Gumtree? May see some team adverts on there

I was going to start a team, got a few people interested but lacked a manager/secretary to sort the team out, where we were playing, fees, referee etc

I just settled for 5-a-side down jjb/dw/whatever it's called now.
