No magic money

MICHAEL JACKSON has ditched DAVID COPPERFIELD from his 50-gig residency at London’s 02 Arena  after the illusionist demanded a mind-bending MILLION DOLLARS a show.

Jacko is hell bent on blowing fans away with stunning special effects and magic during the series of concerts from July until next February.

And he had agreed that illusionist David would join him on stage to wheel out his bundle of tricks.

But the pair ended up in a blazing row when Jacko baulked at Copperfield’s cash demands.

Now the singer has turned instead to talented Las Vegas trickster CRISS ANGEL, star of US cable TV stunt show Mindfreak.

He also dated US glamour model HOLLY MADISON after she split last October from HUGH HEFNER.

An insider said: “Michael wants to use loads of illusions to ensure that his shows at the O2 are as explosive and entertaining as possible.

“He was so excited about working with David but fell out with him over the money he wanted.

“Michael told David he would be wasting his time with the London residency if he was splashing out so much on just one person. So he told him the deal was off.

“But Criss is a superb entertainer and Michael’s delighted to have him on board  not least because he costs less.â€Â

Does this mean that Wacko will appear as just an illusion ? and not actually turn up
