Not sure I wanted to know all this, thanks a lot Wiki!

With their career going downhill, the band members and their families got involved into law and financial problems. The Waite brothers got addicted to drugs and Patrick had developed a mental illness.[url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musical_Youth#cite_note-5] Also Kelvin and Junior suffered from psychological problems. The band subsequently split up in 1985 when Seaton left the band. The Grant brothers remained involved in the music industry, while Seaton released a solo album in 1989, before going on to form his own band, XMY. Plans to re-form were initially scotched when in February 1993, Patrick Waite, who had gone on to a career of juvenile crime, died in Birmingham, aged 24, of a hereditary heart condition, whilst awaiting a court appearance on drug charges.

I know Dennis named the group XMY as a play on "ex Musical Youth".

Im a massive Elton fan ,however for me this is just a magic song,i just love it in my top 5 ever.

Completely agree, what a tune, he's made some crackers.

I posted some of Elton's stuff on here but I seem to remember it didn't go down too well.

Some people have no taste 'http://www.dcfcfans.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
