WaterstoneDerby
Hey ramsfans, This Thursday in Derby city centre we've got Marcus Alton from the BBC in store to talk about everything he's done for Brian Clough since his death, and his new tribute book 'The Day I Met Brian Clough.' It promises to be a rare, frank opportunity to learn more about the much-loved 'master manager' and he will of course answer any questions from the audience and sign dedications in either of his books on Cloughie. It's taking place at our Waterstone's store, you can reserve seats on 01332 296997 from 9:30am tomorrow or by emailing us now on enquiries@derby.waterstones.com Tickets cost £2 but can be redeemed against the price of Marcus' new book if you want that as well. The event is expected to go on for about an hour. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/7848-whos-coming-to-the-brian-clough-tribute-book-evening/ Share on other sites
Boycie
Is there any room on the "Brian Clough" shelf? how many books are there? Is this the one about him staying at Derby, and taking us into europe and winning the European cup 3 times back to back? WaterstoneDerby
This is about when Marcus met Brian, there's also Testimonials from his colleagues and friends. It's a really great book for fans, and quite a nice miscellany that fleshes out the sort of man Brian was. Boycie
i think we know already, but I suppose the clough family won't be endorsing it. there's too many, "the time i met brian, and heard something new" books tbh. Now, I'd like to read Nigels autobiography, that would be worth reading. Written by himself, not some other persons opinion. That's my view, anyway.
