We got 2 seasons, and hence one of the stories. There are threads left unanswered as the 3 stories overlapped, but for all intents and purposes you do get a pretty satisfactory conclusion. To be honest, if it weren't for the very last scene it could very easily have worked as a series rather than season finale. Carry on watching though, it's a great series.
