Duracell
17 years ago today, Formula One lost an all-time great through tragic circumstances. Thank goodness we've not had a tragedy since.
StaffsRam
Didn't Roland Ratzenberger die after Senna? Either way, a great loss to the sport and in general.

Wilko
Ratzenberger died the day before Senna, in qualifying. Rubens Barrichello was lucky to carry on racing after flying through the air into a barrier in Friday practice. Formula One's blackest weekend. RIP Ayrton and Roland, both missed, never forgotten. Duracell
Yep, Ratzenberger died before. It was a tragic day, and it changed F1 forever. Complacency with safety doesn't exist anymore.
