The problem I find is whether Porter is a very good striker or not, forcing to play him 90 mins when not fit won't help, he needed to be gradually brought back into the side, some sub appearances, a few stints in the reserves etc, same with Steve Davies.

One of the reasons he keeps getting injured is we rush him back, but now we can't afford to rest him and gradually get his fitness levels up because there is no other striker at the club.

They always say, you need 3/4 good strikers at the club - and I expect out and out strikers, not a winger who can play upfront when asked, we want a good healthy competition for places and no panic loan signings when 1 picks up an injury
