Stimacked
On what was otherwise a dissapointing weekend for us Rams. The U18's produced a stunning performance Saturday morning. They wooped Middlesborough's U18 side 5-0 away. Seems like the torrid experience of playing against a bunch of senior players on Wednesday in the reserves against Lincoln did them a world of good. The U18's made up the bulk of the team at Lincoln (except for Deeney, Hanson (still struggling for form and fitnes) and Doyle (18 anyway) They got thrashed 4-1 in that game but came back well after being 4-0 down after 18 minutes. Kealan Dillon pulled one back in the second half. On Saturday, the 5 goals came from Hendrick 2, Richards, Ball and an O.g. Here is a report from the Boro website about the match. http://www.mfc.co.uk/articles/20101113/boro-u18s-0-derby-county-u18s-5_70638_2219778 This years Academy side has had an indifferent campaign so far. Winning 4 and losing 7 but they are playing good football, emulating the football in the first team. They have only lost games by the odd goal and are scoring plenty themselves. Good to see the likes of Kane Richards and Kealan Dillon getting on the scoresheet for the Rams already, as they are still first year scholars. Alex W
Is Hanson really struggling then? I know he had a nasty injury for most of last season, but I haven't seen him myself this season to see how he's playing. And well done the U18's of course! Stimacked
Hanson came off at half time in the match against Lincoln being replaced by Heggarty. He's been put in as right back in recent reserve matches. Maybe he just go a knock
Duracell
Is there any kind of hope the Hanson will ever make the first team still intact?
Alex W
Is there any kind of hope the Hanson will ever make the first team still intact? I don't think so from what I saw of him before his injury. He's not bad though.

But he's what, 20 or something now? He's been stuck in reserve football for eternity I swear.

He's been stuck in reserve football for eternity I swear. About two years atleast. He came on against Brighton in the cup when Jewell was in charge but since then nothing. And he basically got injured for the entire season last year.
