48 hours Posted October 27, 2010 Share Posted October 27, 2010 With the success that Derby have had with Bailey and Brayford, it looks like we have woken up the trolls ... There are rumours that Forest have a 'done-deal' to sign Ashley Westwood from them in January. It is believed that Westwood has also been tracked by a few championship teams, including Derby. Crewe are currently on a 12-game unbeaten run, and have put together a very good footballing team (very similar in style to Derby). A large number of scouts have been attending their games recently, and their fans are concerned that their team could be 'ripped apart'. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Alph Posted October 27, 2010 Share Posted October 27, 2010 I remember Crewe fans were saying back when we were first hearing rumours of Brayford, that they are expecting us to come in for Westwood as he's by far their most valuable asset. They rate him very highly at Crewe. And they have seen enough good players to know!! Us going for Bailey suprised them a bit, but i think they'd be even more suprised if they knew how comfortable he looks. Reckon he'll go on to be another Crewe gem.
