I dont think he will ever be good enough on the ball to be a good midfield player. The players like Makelele, mascherano etc who aplay that rold are still very good when they have the ball and keeping the ball and playing it simple isnt as easy as some people think and we havent had a player good enough at it until we signed Bailey. People always say he is young and can learn which is true but i cant see him ever being good enough in this area. Also young players dont always get better as Lee Holmes, Izale Mcleod, Adam Murray, Nyatanga etc have shown

Totally agree, Miles is better suited as a defender, if he could use the ball better then maybe but at this time in his career he is a better defender than anything else.
