Rams U18`s winning run!

The U18`s followed up the great 2-1 away win over Forest last week

with their second successive win, 2-0 over Huddersfield.

Seems like Wassall is pulling things together nicely with the Academy.

They are playing the same system as the first team and have been a match for all their opponents so far this season, even though they lost each of the first four games by the odd goal.

there are four new scholars who all look good prospects.

Kealan Dillon (a forward) is the latest player from the Emerald Isle, he scored for the Eire U18`s in a recent match.

Kane Richards (another forward. He is a relative of former Rams scholar

Mathew Richards. already appeared for the reserves this season.

Mats Morch (a Norwegian keeper signed by Clough last season)

Stephan Galinski ( a big defender with Polish roots)

Other players to look out for are Callum Ball and Mark O'brien (of course!)

as well as Alex Witham, formerly of Arsenal U16's

Aaron Cole, highly rated when he was with the Rams U16`s.

and Chris Jones, a steady right back, also a regular for the Rezzars.

I like the fact that the system is being played at all levels of the club. It bodes well for the long term (unless/until Nige is sacked of course, then a new manager will scrap everything and start again).

Stability - its a boring word but, strong foundations and all that.

How is Aaron Cole doing this year - I live in Canada so haven't been able to watch the Academy team for a couple of years ?
