Steve Bloomer's Washing
Evening In our latest INTL week pod, we chatted to John Motson about his career and DCFC at his home in Hertfordshire. Motty relived his favourite Derby County memories from his 50-year career with the BBC, including: - His run-ins with Brian Clough and why Peter Taylor was 'undervalued'. - What made the '72 and '75 title-winning sides so special - His memories of the BBG, the gantry facilities and *that* penalty spot incident in 1977. We were also joined by Motty's son Fred, a lifelong DCFC fan, who told us how a pencil case started his love affair with the Rams. Link below, cheers!
