Why we are playing so well - Dickov who?

Commons & Hulse.

It's as simple as that. I'm not taking anything away from Ratty, Barker and Buxton who have also been quite frankly ruddy marvelous recently, but with Hulse back upfront with Commons in that hole we have an attacking outlet once again.

You can stick Dickov up yer jacksy, he might of put in 100% effort in every game but he aint a patch on our fat lad.

and bywater

but as nige keeps saying, we forget how important it ois to have a steady back 4, what is it 3 games in a row now unchanged?

and barker has been unbelivable from what i have heard so far

Tis true, but the problem was before that we had no creativity, Teale would take the ball up the left, cross it in for no fecker and the balls coming back at us again. No team can defend for 90 minutes without making mistakes, now we have Commons finding his feet again and Hulse getting the service we have that outlet to put pressure on the other team.

Just shows a bit of consistency goes a long way in this league! Lets hope it continues that way!!!

not just this league, look at birmingham, unchanged in a shed load of games

most teams at the top of leagues keep fairly unchanged teams, the consistancy is key, and getting the players in key positions is uber important

bywater in goal, kept us in a load of games recently

barker has been faultless when hes played so far

and pearo has been sounding more dangerous each week, after a long run of games, perhaps he is finally getting some sort of confidence to be a real dangerman

but as dave keeps saying hulse and commons are key, as commons when he can be arsed can change games, with a shot, or a well placed pass/cross, which he has been doing. the same with hulse sometimes lazy, but you cant deny he does have a small eye for goal
