Millenniumram Posted November 4, 2017 Share Posted November 4, 2017 Now I’m to an extent a rowett fan, I think he’s doing a decent job in hard under pressure circumstances- but why the hell does he have an obsession with breaking a functioning formation?! We’ve been playing well in a 4231 with holding midfielders since that’s all we’ve got, and a balanced two man strike force with one coming deeper to get the ball and drive forward. So why do we then switch to a 442 with a strike force with little pace, and a midfield two with no energy leaving a massive gap in front of our midfield?! I don’t get what goes through rowetts mind, he did the same last season when he switched to a 433 and we got dicked by Brentford.
