New Monday night football prog

Late Kick Off will provide in depth coverage of all 14 teams across the region – Burton, Cheltenham, Chesterfield, Coventry, Derby, Hereford, Leicester, Lincoln, Notts County, Nottingham Forest, Port Vale, Shrewsbury, Walsall and West Bromwich Albion.

The show, which starts on 18 January 2010 on BBC One Midlands at 11.35pm (subject to variation), will get right to the heart of local football with a mix of discussion, opinion, interviews and match analysis.

More than just a highlights programme, it promises to get to grips with the issues fans want to talk about as well as giving some insightful reports both on and off the pitch.

Regular studio pundits will include Derby midfielder Robbie Savage, former West Bromwich Albion and Derby favourite Darren Moore, and former Leicester and England goalkeeper Tim Flowers.

Robbie Savage and Nottingham Forest assistant manager David Kelly will join Manish for the first programme, which will feature West Bromwich Albion's trip that night to Newcastle.

Great, I give him 10 minutes on air before he makes a tit of himself. I don't mind ex footballers or even footballers being pundits, but they have to have more than 1 brain cell for it to be interesting. Just listening to him talk you realise he's a sterotypical football, thick as pig *****.
