vicky-27
Shrek's contract demands could end his career at Man Utd - there is a huge gap between what the striker wants and debt-ridden Man utd can afford he has two years left on his contract which utd have agreed to renegotiate - At the age if 24 this will be his biggest contract and his advisors want a five year deal worth ........£140,000 a week - which is £50,000 more than he earns now.:mad: how the chuff can he even spend the money he has now never mind more - not many people even earn anywhere near the £50,000 never mind the rest. Figures show that Uts owe £711.5m.

GboroRam
I'd laugh my balls off if ManU didn't manage to get Champions League football next season (but it ain't gonna happen). Without all that income to meet that big loan, they're screwed.
MrOrdinary
yep would be funny! wonder how many of the southern reds will stick with them then!
David
Has Real Madrid written all over it, United fans must be bricking it, without Rooney they will be fooked. Losing Ronaldo has obviously had a bigger loss than what they expected.

vicky-27
Man U have announced plans to hike season ticket prices to rake back some of the debt - they plan to increase a ticket in the family stand from £646 to £722 - 11% increase - and 7% in other stands which would increase match day revenue by over £2m. They are trying to raise £500m to stabalise debts.
GboroRam
I've known a few MU fans who've refused to renew their tickets due to the high price hikes they've been asked to fork out. Sadly for every 1 who makes a stand, 10 others will be happy to pay.

Kris Marina
Why shouldn't Rooney push for as much as he can get as long as that sort of money is available. Compared to a lot of players he is worth it and although it's a ridiculous amount of money, I'd push for the same. Nothing more satisfying than being able to look after generations of your family after all
