Great stuff.

You're a touch older than me, but the memories are all very similar (although our school was invited to the opening ceremony). 

I was young enough and it's too long ago that I can only remember the vagaries of those times, so those couple of seasons where we were really good are almost mythical and the players involved carry almost legendary status.
