vicky-27
Derby County are ready to open contract talks with defender Jay McEveley and midfielder Gary Teale Both players arrived at Pride Park in £600,000 deals in January 2007 - McEveley from Blackburn and Teale from Wigan - and are set to be out of contract in the summer. "We will be speaking to the representatives of both players in the next few days," Rams boss Nigel Clough told the Derby Telegraph NOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo not Teale - pleaseeeeee :frown: Thought i would say the say about Jay but he has played really well last few games. MrOrdinary
jay mac, good decision teale, if its anything over a year its a bad call
Day
If Commons was to leave we would only have Teale, Hendrie and Davies that could play in that position. Keeping hold of Teale for another season aint all bad, gives us time to replace him rather than panic buying in the summer.
derbydan
i think teale has become abit of a scapegoat for derby fans of late can't seem to put a foot right
Day
I think it's more to do with not being able to put a decent cross in, anyhow this club always have to have a scapegoat. Hulse will be next, "he's not interested in playing for the club" blah blah.
