CumbrianRam
Our town has been flooded today and there are 5 inches of rain expected tonight. Some pictures from todays floods are in the below link: http://news.bbc.co.uk/local/cumbria/hi/people_and_places/nature/newsid_8366000/8366661.stm Thankfully I live just above this street, you can see my house on the fourth picture. I get a great view of it all. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/2342-floods/ Share on other sites

Perky1106
I have a relative who lives in Windermere. It doesn't take much for most of the roads to end up as lakes. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/2342-floods/#findComment-44076 Share on other sites
CumbrianRam
I have a relative who lives in Windermere. It doesn't take much for most of the roads to end up as lakes. Yeah it is awful around there, I live about 30 miles from the Lake District. The road is right next to the lakes in it that area and even in the summer the lakes are quite high. The schools are now shut here. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/2342-floods/#findComment-44077 Share on other sites
