Perky1106
Yes, it's this time of the year again. The time where FIFA is released in just over a month. It's the time when the games that define football fans are out. So it's time decide which one you will be investing your hard earned £39.99 on for the next season. Please tell everyone, and why. Perky1106
I bought both last year but traded in FIFA a few months back. I love the single player of PES. But most of my mates play FIFA and PES hasn't changed much at all since it moved to the 7th gen so FIFA is the winner for me. I'll rent PES to see if it has any good improvements, which I doubt. All I know about PES is that they're going to integrate the licensed Champions League and Europa League into the Master League mode. Man Utd and Liverpool are still the two only licensed Prem teams. Thornhill
Fifa10 has been improved a fair amount, some of the things i've noticed already is the dribbling is alot better, you can't keep good control when going flat out (which is one of the reasons 09 was easyish) passing the ball BEHIND the defender doesn't seem to be easy either as i just found out when their defneder cocked his leg back and blocked my cross, before sending them off on the counter.. just scored a nice freekick with lampard on it.. more to come

Perky1106
Yeah all football games let you dribble all the way across from the six yard box to the opponents six yard box and score. This rarely (if not never) happens so the new dribble system makes it more difficult to do this. It's more realistic.
Perky1106
I really like this FIFA. The graphics have improved a lot in 720. The 360 dribbling system is instantly noticable, giving you more freedom and making running realistically difficulty for less skillful players, so it stops your 15 stone 6 foot 4 centre back from running across the pitch and taking players on and scoring. It is also open to the development of entertaining skills. Overall, it balances fun and realism very well. I will be pre-ordering.
David
Changed me vote from don't care to Fifa 10, downloaded it last night and been playing it all morning, must say I'm impressed. Probably need a hell of alot of practice before I take you lot on tho.
