ramblur
The only point I was trying to make was that in a situation where you had to sell a player for big money,e.g player wanted to play in the Prem, FFP could make it difficult for you to spend the proceeds on replacements. Been thinking about this kind of situation and I've come up with a 'three year' rule.If a club fell foul of FFP in any given year, rather than immediately imposing sanctions you inspect the record of the current year in conjunction with the previous 2.Add together the FFP profit/losses and add together the total allowable losses for the 3 years. If you're still over the limit impose sanctions,if not get a reprieve. In the latter case you might be forced to inject more equity. Stuniverse
Club owners are allowed to put in an amount of money to offset losses under FFP regulations but I can't remember what the limit is.
