The demise of Forest

Come on Ossie ..... everyone knows Forest are the only team in the league with injuries

Many of the injuries are frostbite-related, on account of them having to play into the sleet both halves every week.

More words of 'wisdom' from the grumps:

To put the Forest v Derby injury list into perspective....

Would Derby cope if Forsyth, Keogh, Hughes and Bryson were all out for 3-6 months? Along with intermittent injury problems to Wisdom, Buxton and Eustace?

That is the equivalent/minimum we've had to put up with

Forest, the first team in history to have some injuries......boo fooking hoo.

Barker - first team

O'Brien - first team

Coutts - first team

Russell - first team

Hendrick - first team

Ward - first team

All either had long term injuries or persistent injuries this season.

Perhaps we'll just tuck this one away ready to pull out the next time we don't win. We can recant it while the violins play in the background.....

Meh, a 20 game unbeaten run against out of form teams, with weather conditions always in their favour and no injuries in all that time.

They're there for the taking by any half decent side. I expect you to win by at least a couple of clear goals. Anything else would be a disappointment...... :)

I was surprised at how mediocre they were when they came to Forest in November.

I remember us ending Birmingham's unbeaten home run a couple of years ago and that started a slump in form which ended any chance of automatic promotion.

If we defend like we did at times on Wednesday then we will lose.

Exactly  We have probably the same amount of injuries to players who are in and around the first team as they have. After spending 8 or 9 million this season on players you'd think they have enough quality players to cope

Between the pair us we could put a severe dent in Burnley's challenge, we've got them soon as well. You beat them first and then we'll mosey on into town to take the out of form team to the cleaners for good measure. ;)

Plus, how many of those injuries were self-inflicted? You can just imagine the carnage if anyone tries to get ahead of ol' porky fat trotters in the lunch queue on 'pie day'.....

I'd take a draw. We go there ourselves soon enough. Rather take out these teams ourselves than having to rely on anyone else.

Indeed, the unbeaten record is going to be really tested over the next two Saturdays!

On the topic of Reid ..... you know how the gumps like to remind everyone of refereeing decisions that have gone against them in the past, anyone reckon they'll mention how Reid should be banned for 3 or 4 games for attacking Phillips?

To be fair, Trotters was provoked. Phillips rubbed himself down with meat and potato before coming on. Trots got one whiff and lost control of himself. Unsportsmanlike of Phillips IMO.....

Genuine question, how many players have you had out this season for 2 months or longer.

Sometimes you get lucky with injuries and sometimes you do not. We have been unlucky but it shows what a strong squad we have that always been able to put out strong sides.

There have been times in the past when we have not been able to put a senior player on the bench or even have two centre backs on the pitch. Those are the times when you are really going to struggle with injuries.
