On saturday morning myself & My colleague Emma are embarking on a 4 day schlep across Europe in this years #Bangers4Benevent from the Porsche HQ in Reading all the way to the Nürburgring in Germany in a car for under £500! Yeah I'd ideally not want to break down had a full service now but on the way home from the garage the exhaust snapped so I will be bodging that tonight bit of putty & a few tacks with the welder should sort it! derbydan Posted October 28, 2013 Author Share Posted October 28, 2013 To be fair it was abit of a jolly but all the money is going to a good cause it cost £500 entry fee (to the charity), £450 for the car & about another £700 on fuel, food, beer ect.But all the money raised goes straight to the charity non of it is to cover the above & the car also gets auctioned of Wednesday again all of that will go to the charity tooWas a cracking 4 days though! Haha no she did alright tbf lost 2 alloys on the M4 a lorry dropped a scaffold pole & I hit it took out 2 of our alloys luckily we had a spare & one of the other cars was a civic that gave us their full size spare but she made the trip & a lap of the nurgburgring.
