vicky-27
Derby are chasing David McGoldrick according to the Sunday People. boss Nigel Clough is poised with a £600,000 offer for Southampton's David McGoldrick. The 21-year old Nottingham born strikers 12 league goals were not enough to keep the Saints in the Championship. And the South- coast clubs financial plight means they have to cash in on their star men.

David
Just had a look they haven't found out yet, although some berk has posted a rumour on there about Nyatanga being linked with them, shame he didn't look at the date June 2008. Backs up the theory they can't read, they just recognise players names from Fifa.
Perky1106
£600,000, we have no chance even if they are desperate. It will need at least a £1,000,000 offer to be safe.

David
Notts Forest have made a bid of more than £1m for long-term target David McGoldrick – and are waiting for a response from crisis club Southampton. The Reds are hopeful that their seven-figure offer will be enough to persuade the Saints to part company with the Nottingham born 21-year-old at a time when their financial future hangs in the balance. The relegated side remain in administration and had to delay payment of staff wages this month, as their cash flow problems continued. A consortium led by Saints legend Matthew Le Tissier has lodged a £500,000 bond to allow them access to the club's books, but a takeover is a long way from being secured. And Forest are hopeful that the bid, lodged officially last Wednesday, will be accepted. "We have made a bid that is in excess of £1m and are waiting for a response," said chief executive Mark Arthur.
