He was spotted around the 'Hive' a week or so ago, I thought this would have been picked up before now by the media. Though having said that most Barnet fans thought it was either a mis-sighting or he had some impact on the deal to bring Collins John to the club.

Good move for him, and Robson needs the help, not entirely sure how well it'll go down with Robson however, or indeed how much impact Davids will have on transfers as their main flaw is in the mis-balance of the squad.

He could probably get into that side he he got himself fit enough too, if they get hit by an injury crisis we may well see Edgar Davids play for Barnet this season, a reality very few people would have considered possible. Isn't football great?

His move to Palace was more of a surprise, after that you know he is open to offers from clubs you wouldn't of expected. Doesn't he already live in London as well? Kinda handy.

Very different for a side like Palace to attract him to Barnet, and in such a role, a big surprise.

Barnet are bottom of the FL, their 'main' striker signing this summer was Dag and Red's John Nurse, who'se proving to be absolutely useless as a striker as he has been for the last two years at the Daggers. That's the level of player they've got around the place.

They recently signed on Collins John in what was a huge and unprecedentad move for them, but a retiring player like Edgar Davids is even more ballsy. How on earth they got him to agree to it is anyones guess. And he does live in London I think, but he also works on Ajax's board (or in an executive role atleast) and has various media gigs, he's not limited to one area in terms of offers.

He could probably still play at this level, though in a role similiar to Savage only as his legs have pretty much gone now for anything else.

He couldn't cut it at this level 2 years ago so what's happened changed his legs for new ones
